March Roundup: Free Resources, Fresh Ideas, and a Sneak Peek at What's Taking Root
A monthly mash-up of marketing insights, creative inspiration, and behind-the-scenes projects.
Theme of the Month: Renewal 🌱
March has been a whirlwind, and I’m thrilled to share what’s been happening at The Launch Box! Whether you’ve been following along or are just catching up, this is your monthly roundup of everything I have going on—blogs you may have missed, a sneak peek at what’s coming next, and some of the most interesting finds I’ve come across this month.
As we dive into spring, I’ve been reflecting on how marketing is constantly evolving, and I’m excited to bring you fresh insights, actionable strategies, and a little inspiration (be forewarned, I’m a content junkie!) to fuel your own growth. Let’s jump in! 🌿
In Case You Missed It: March Posts
March was a big month for Marketing Jam—I brought my blog back online, gave it a fresh new vibe, and decided to make 100% of the content free. No paywalls, no limits—just marketing insights for everyone. It feels great to be back, and I’m pumped to share what’s next!
Here’s what hit the blog this month:
The Power of Brand Authenticity: Why authenticity isn’t just a buzzword—it’s your brand’s secret weapon for building trust and standing out. Missed it? Catch up here.
What’s Coming Next: The Brand Blueprint Launch
Big news—I’m launching my new course, The Brand Blueprint, on May 8! 👩🏻🏫
This course is designed for founders, marketers, and anyone looking to build a brand that doesn’t just look good but works. (Think Vidal Sassoon in the ’80s and let me know if you remember the catchphrase.) Seriously though, whether you’re starting from scratch or leveling up, The Brand Blueprint, is your all-in-one system for building a brand that connects, converts, and stands out.
Why did I create it? Because I’ve seen too many brands struggle with the same challenges: unclear messaging, scattered visuals, and a lack of focus. The Brand Blueprint is here to fix that. It’s everything I wish I’d had when I started building brands—and now it’s yours.
Not sure where your brand stands? Start with my Free Brand Health Check 👩🏻⚕️—it’s quick, insightful, and gives you your personalized Brand Rx. Think of it as your first step toward building a stronger brand.
Let’s make May the month your brand gets the glow-up it deserves! I’ve got an exclusive VIP pre-sell running through March 30, so, if you relish early access (and exclusive perks), now’s the time to jump in. Learn More.
Brain Food: What I’ve Been Diving Into This Month
No surprises here. I spent most of March geeking out over branding, marketing, and the ever-evolving world of AI. Here’s what’s been keeping me informed and inspired:
Books in My Ears:
Hidden Potential by Adam Grant (@adamgrant on Substack) explores how perseverance and a growth mindset unlock unseen opportunities—not just for yourself but for those around you.
Ina Garten’s memoir Be Ready When the Luck Happens blends branding wisdom with cooking inspiration—what’s not to love?
AI Adventures: AI is everywhere right now and it feels like the Wild West (albeit a much friendlier one than in HBO’s #Westworld)! Everyone seems to be scrambling to figure out how to harness, use, and yes, monetize this game-changing technology. I’m not going to lie—a lot of the information I came across was super basic, but here are some of the gems that stuck with me:
Episode #749 of Amy Porterfield’s ‘Online Marketing Made Easy’ podcast with Rick Mulready—practical tips for using AI in marketing. Here it is on Spotify.
My colleague Avy’s blog on the "Top 51 Free AI Courses" (who stops at 51???)—he’s brilliant at curating resources, and this list is perfect for diving deeper without spending a dime. (@Avy-Loren Cohen on Substack)
I took a free workshop with ThinkWithAI that got my creative juices flowing in a big way. (You can thank them for the AI sidekick I created for The Brand Blueprint!)
Off the Clock: What’s Inspiring Me Right Now
March has also been a month of leaning into creativity and joy outside the office (err, my desk in the living room). As you can see, my inner spirit has been craving a little something extra:
Getting Cosmic: Between the Chani App, Leah Vanderveldt’s Cosmic Style Podcast (@leahvanderveldt on Substack), and The AstroTwins’ wisdom (@astrotwins on Substack), I’ve been soaking up the crazy March astrology vibes—and loving every minute of it!
Cooking Up a Storm: Inspired by No Taste Like Home on Hulu (Antoni Porowski + Florence Pugh = magic), I made Shepherd’s Pie (recipe courtesy of the NY Times Cooking app) and Steak & Guinness Pie (recipe courtesy of Jamie Oliver TV on YouTube). Next stop? Giving my cookbook collection a space to shine!
Indoor Jungle Vibes: A new indoor Click & Grow garden setup is literally giving me life—fresh herbs everywhere and a cozy space to dream up recipes while I pray to the grow light gods.
